Receive our greetings from
Muguga High School. We thank our God for giving us a
successful term and year. We started the year well and we
have come to the end well without disruptions and on behalf
of all stake holders, the parents, the management and the
teachers and workers would like to congratulate and thank
each one of you for your contribution.
The school breaks for
Christmas holidays today 19th November 2010 after
the morning assembly at 8.00 a.m. The school shall reopen on
Tuesday 4th January 2011 at 4.00 p.m. Continuous
assessment test 1 (CAT 1) will be done from 5th
January 2011 at 8.00 a.m.
School fees payment
Fees payment this term has
not been done in good time making it difficult for the
management to plan well for the term. Some parents did not
honor their pledge to pay full fees and hence they have
ended the term with school fees balances. The school
requests such parents and guardians to pay during the
holiday to offset debts incurred due to the delay in the
payment. In future such debts that are carried over to the
next term shall be paid with an interest.

I would wish to request
all parents and sponsors to ensure that their children have
enough uniform. Please replace old uniform so that your
children are smart while in school. All clothing that does
not meet the standards of the school shall not be accepted
in school and therefore I request you to ensure that your
child is not frustrated or embarrassed in school. Two pairs
of plain white shirts, Grey trousers, socks, sweater and one
pair of games kit (t-shirt in house color, black shorts,
white stocking, white sports shoes and plain navy blue track
suit). One navy blue jumper to be used for the night preps.
All these items will be checked on the first day when the
school reopens. In addition, all students will be required
to have a bucket (house color), plate, a cup and a spoon.
All students will carry
home a news letter and a report form that shows the students
academic performance for the last three examinations. Please
take time to go through the report form with your child with
the aim of encouraging to ensure that there is an
improvement next term.

Some students in the
course of the year lost text books and are requested to
replace the same on the opening day. Students are also
requested to ensure that they take good care of any property
given to them. Form three and four students will be required
to buy set books for English( form 3: and Kiswahili.
Those students who wish to
pursue computer studies will be required to pay Ksh 1,500
per term while swimming will be Ksh 1,200 per term.
I once again thank all the
parents, sponsors and guardians for the part they played in
ensuring the smooth running of the school. I also thank all
students for conducting themselves in a mature manner and
trying their best to achieve academic Excellency. May God
